Sugar Daddy Says Goodbye

Billy Joel Didn’t Start The Fire, It Was Always Burningbilly

People Magazine is reporting that after almost 5 years together, Billy Joel and his wife Katie Lee are calling it a day. It seems that young Katie could no longer stand being with old man Joel. This sort of thing happens when you marry someone who is old enough to be your father or grandfather. You want to go out and party and they want to stay in and talk about the good old days over a bowl of soup while Wheel of Fortune plays in the background. There’s nothing wrong with it, sometimes infatuation makes people do crazy things. On a side note, what is it with these young Katies marrying much older men? Katie Lee, Katie Holmes….. do Katies have an old man fetish? I guess that’s not fair seeing as I can only name two Katies off the top of my head but I never claimed to have a rational train of thought. Hopefully Billy made her sign a pre-nup, we all know these celebrity divorces can get ugly.

  1. There’s Kathy Lee marrying Frank Gifford. Granted, she’s not a Katie, but it’s pretty close.

  3. Katie Couric? Wasn’t her husband much older than her? I know he passed away a while ago from cancer. Maybe it’s that she’s been dating someone much older recently?

  4. I bet when Matt Lauer reaches a certain age, Katie Couric’s alarm will go off and she’ll be all over that.

Now we need to keep an eye on Katie Price.

  5. Matt Lauer’s hairline reached that age sometime ago. He looks like a 35 year old w/a forehead graft from Grampy.
