  1. First: At the post office today I saw an 8-ish year old girl singing that new Matt Nathanson song. The one with these lyrics (I googled):
So come on, get higher, loosen my lips
Faith and desire and the swing of your hips
    Just pull me down hard
    And drown me in love

    I feel of your heart
I taste the sparks on your tongue
    I see angels and devils
    And God, when you come

So..it was awkward. Her mom didn’t seem too concerned. But on to my other point.

Second: The kid in the first row, second from the right, dances like my ex. It’s spooky.

  2. the ps22 choir teacher makes a point to say that he changed the lyrics of the song to something more kid-friendly! 🙂

  3. Okay, but these kids always look like they’re having a really great time!

And he had them sing Journey. I wish I had a class like that when I was that age.

  4. Yeah, I definitely wish I had that teacher too. I had a weird, weird music teacher who only has us perform Andrew Lloyd Webber.

  6. LOL. That girl in the glasses is so darned cute! The soloist was feeling pretty darned special. You could tell by all the hair flips. 😛 But she earned it – she was great!
