Mr. Squee! has a New Movie

Terminator Salvation Opens

I just got back from the new Terminator movie and it was pretty freaking sweet. If you are looking for a full on, bone rattling action movie, Terminator Salvation is for you. The story is good. It’s got some plot holes, but nothing that distracts too heavily from the story. Plus, they lay a lot of groundwork that ties in nicely with the earlier films.

If you are going because you want to see Christian Bale on screen for 100% of the movie you, will be disappointed. For the first half of the movie he plays a supporting role while the movie focuses on Kyle Reese and Marcus Wright. Fear not though, your Bale fix will be supplied in full during the second half of the film.

There are some easter eggs spread throughout the film that I’ll let you find on your own, however, if you are like me and wait until the end of the credits to see if they’ve tossed in a hidden scene, you can save yourself the five minutes or so. There is no scene at the end of the credits.

If you are looking for some escapism or you just want to see stuff blow up, Terminator Salvation is well worth the price of admission.

Take a look at the final trailer release.
