Reality Check

Tuesday night on American Idol, Kris Allen sang Kanye West’s Heartless. When it came time for the judges critiques, Randy Jackson said “Dude, check it out baby, I liked that better than Kanye’s version. That for me was better than the original.” Time stood still as the audience did a silent “Oh no you di-int!” Not really, but can’t you just picture Mr. West’s face puffing up in anger,  blowing off his body and flying around the room along with his Mac computer. I guess Randy Jackson has a death wish.

Here’s Allen’s version. Kanye’s follows after the jump. You be the judge, but watch your back.

  2. I have to say that I like Kris’ version better, too. But I think that’s just because Kanye gets on my nerves. Anyhoo, Kris & Randy will need bodyguards from now on, cuz Kanye ain’t gonna take that.
BTW, have you heard the Fray’s version? Kris’ version is better than their’s, too.

  4. How did American Idol end up with three top men?

I haven’t been watching at all, but I saw a commercial for the top three.

Did all of the girls suck or what?

  5. I thought the girls were great. Sadly, I don’t think the voting audience is the type who likes young girls. Which is weird considering it seems like all of America likes young girls.

  6. Yes, but if they are going to pay to call into a number, it’s going to be to TALK to young girls, not vote for them.
