  2. I admit, I had to wiki this one. Aaannnd, even though my head started to spin around the 3rd paragraph, I can still say that I learned something new today! So, thanks, STM!

  3. Mr.The Pink started to take exception to your application of this thought experiment, but I explained to him that as we can clearly observe the cat, the box must be open and as such, the waveform has obviously collapsed to the LolCat state. Mr.The Pink can be so geeky sometimes. Pshaw…

    P.S. Your umlaut gets me hot.

  4. i love:

    1) that people know what schrodinger’s cat means and therefore understood my uber geeky joke;
    2) that people who don’t know are curious enough to find out;
    3) mr. the pink.

  5. My friend was schrodinger’s cat for Halloween. Well, she put on a cat face and wore a box.

    It was really entertaining trying to watch her explain her costume to drunk people, especially as she herself got more intoxicated. “It’s a thought exshperiment. Yeah.”

  6. How timely. April 28th is an important date in Schrödinger’s life and in the history of modern physics:
