Kwai Chang Caine Walks the Earth No More
Rest in peace, David Carradine
Iconic “Kung Fu” and “Kill Bill” star David Carradine, has passed away. Carradine, 72, was found dead in his Bangkok hotel room overnight.
Peter Gibbons will be crushed. Then again, so are we.
There’s some tragic speculation as to his cause of death, but let’s focus on his innate badassedness, Squeers!, and send warm fuzzies to his loved ones.
After the break, Carradine vs. Brandon Lee in a sadly prescient sparring match.

Carradine knows the five-point-palm exploding heart trick, so as much as it saddens me, I think the Carradine would win this battle royale.
Mmmmm…royale with cheese.
I haven’t watched Kill Bill in far too long.
He will definitely be missed.
It’s so very sad and unexpected, to me. I guess just because it seemed like he was one of those people who had studied things about eastern religion and lifestyle, and maybe knew some secrets about inner peace.
Click to edit?!? with a timer? Whoa!
I just heard an internet rumor that he committed suicide. Has anyone else heard this? I’m thinking that this is a load of crap, but you never know.
Blah, I linked to a story about that rumor in the post above.
ok….thanks. This is so sad. I wonder if he was sick. He’s always looked like he was sick or tired TMIMO
He wasn’t sick…it was definitely auto-erotic asphyxiation. There was another rope tied around his dick, connected to the rope tied around his neck.
Shades o’ Michael Hutchence, eh?
Very sad.
Now his manager is claiming foul play and that his hands were tied behind his back.
Oy.
No matter how or why he died, it’s a shame.
How tragic. The auto-erotic asphyxiation is better than suicide at least. I’d hate to think you could make it into your 70′s and still have to suffer so hard from depression. I choose to believe everyone finds happiness in their 60′s, and life gets a lot easier. Rest peacefully, David Carradine.
that’s comforting. oddly, oddly comforting. but comforting.
